Welcome to Chattanooga’s Starting Block! A website for entrepreneurs and small businesses searching for resources.

Chattanooga believes startups and small businesses are the core of a vibrant economy.  We are excited to announce this new website that helps bring local business resources together in one place. To foster our city’s entrepreneurial spirit, Chattanooga has curated a list of partners providing services to emerging and existing small businesses across the region. We know that finding the right resource at the right time is vital to start ups.

Helping Small Business Grow

The mission is to help small businesses grow and prosper by providing founders with easy access to business resources in the Chattanooga area. Starting Block Chattanooga contributes to the network by partnering with resource providers to:

• Raise community awareness about entrepreneurial activity and network access;
• Identify gaps in needed services and initiate innovative programs to fill those gaps;
• Connect Entrepreneurs with community resources;
• Find new ways to increase funding for resource provider programs;
• Measure economic impact.

Finding Resources for Your Business

The Starting Block is a free referral service providing:

• Easy access to a specialized network of service providers offering a broad range of expertise 
• Quick links to resources that assist in starting or scaling a growing business

Adding Resource Partners

This network is comprised of nonprofits, universities and governmental organizations that provide direct support to startups and growing businesses. We want to continue growing our network with organizations that are passionate about small businesses and offer free or low cost business resources.
