Chattanooga Technology Council (ChaTech)

ChaTech connects technology-related and tech-enabled businesses around topics of mutual interest and training. Members include startups to enterprise companies across industries. Programs target CIOs, CISOs, data geeks, women in tech, and other IT areas.

About

ChaTech is an association connecting technology-related and tech-enabled organizations across industries. Programs serve professionals in a wide variety of IT specialties including CIOs, CISOs, data and analytics professionals, women in tech, and other areas. Some programs are open to all, some are focused on a specific group. The Scenic City Summit is an annual training conference open to all.

Outreach programs focus on promoting IT training and careers to strengthen the local workforce. ChaTech offers an annual Code Camp for middle/high school students each summer. The ChaTech Scholars program provides scholarships to students in computer science and IT majors to incentivize them to start their careers in the Chattanooga region.

In 2020, the inaugural Chattanooga Technology Excellence Awards (TechX) recognized the achievements of professionals across 10 specialties with an uplifting awards program.
